Responsibilities
What youβll be doing?
Development:
- π Implement projects assigned to the development staff.
- π Ensure assigned projects are executed within established timeframes, and according to coding standards and best practices.
- π Submit code for review and ensure all proper testing has been carried out.
- π Participate in the training on the concepts of the business and technical environment.
- π Proactively work to optimize the performance and reliability of clearinghouse systems and customer processes
- π Other duties as assigned.
Support:

€a) Troubleshoot processes when defects or malfunctions arise.

€b) Identify, implement, test, and deploy fixes for defects and malfunctions.

€c) Communicate professionally with internal and external customers to understand issues and provide timely support and resolution.
- π Work with threat management teams and error logs, working with support engineer staff to:

€a) Ensure all threats are investigated and cleared in a timely manner.

€b) Implement permanent corrective updates for threats and errors.

€c) Monitor clearinghouse production, identify delayed or incorrectly processed transactions, and apply corrective actions.

€d) Use "automation first" approach to minimize manual intervention related to clearinghouse production.

Business Analysis:
- π Create and maintain accurate business rules and technical process documentation related to customer workflows and systems.
Β
Management:
- π Hold developers and support engineers accountable for delivering assignments on-time and compliant to coding standards and best practices.
- π Identify underperforming staff members and work with Implementation Manager to execute appropriate corrective action.
Requirements
What weβre looking for?
Education and Experience:
- π 2+ years of experience in software implementation, project management, or professional services, preferably in healthcare technology or clearinghouse system.
Technical Skills:
- π Proficient in Java programming using IntelliJ IDE.
- π Able to work across both Windows and Linux operating systems.
- π Solid understanding of IP networking fundamentals and system-level troubleshooting.
- π Strong command of relational databases, particularly SQL Server.Β
- π Familiarity with SOS clearinghouse job structures and database architecture.Β
- π Working knowledge of EDI standards and clearinghouse workflows.
- π Analytical mindset with solid math aptitude and reading comprehension.
Soft Skills:
- π Excellent skills in oral and written communication.
- π Effective stakeholder management, and client relationship skills.
- π Strong problem-solving abilities and adaptability to changing priorities.
